Recognizing the critical gaps in specialized maternal and neonatal care within the region, the Trust undertook the monumental task of completely revamping and repurposing the historic Red Crescent Hospital building. What was once a modest 20-bed facility dedicated to Gynaecology and Ophthalmology has now been reborn as an iconic, state-of-the-art 100-bed Mother and Child Healthcare Hospital.
This transformation is not merely about expanded capacity; it is a complete paradigm shift in regional clinical delivery. We have engineered this facility to meet international standard healthcare benchmarks, blending specialized architectural workflows with the highest tiers of clinical governance.
Every square inch of this modern facility has been designed to optimize patient safety, infection control, and rapid response. We have equipped our clinical spaces with advanced, cutting-edge medical technologies to ensure that the mothers and children of Jhang receive care on par with premier metropolitan institutions. Our specialized infrastructure includes, High-Acuity Emergency Room (ER) – Optimized for rapid triage and immediate resuscitation, Advanced Intensive Care (ICU) & Neonatal ICU (NICU) – Outfitted with high-end life-support and monitoring systems to care for our most vulnerable patients, Semi-Modular Operating Rooms (OR) & Modern Labour Suites – Engineered with advanced airflow management to ensure absolute sterility and optimal surgical outcomes, Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD) – A fully modernized, closed-loop sterilization hub adhering strictly to international infection control protocols and 24/7 Diagnostic Lab – Utilizing high-throughput, automated analyzers for precise and swift clinical decision-making.
